I am trying to mass update Assembly upper level ONLY (Detail, Description, CustomFeilds #1, CustomFeilds #2, and Sell At(EA)) and the import put all Assemblies into the First Assembly Part number.
How do I tell the import to only update the upper level only?
What are the Blank fields at the top of the import screen used for?

Hello Frank,

In the menu bar to the left of the program window you see the top section is "Inventory". The section below that is "Assemblies".

There's one import button in the Inventory section and there's another import button in the Assemblies section.

The import button in the the Assemblies menu is for importing an assembly. It assumes and all rows of the csv file are parts or subassemblies of the same top level assembly.

It sounds like you've imported via that Assemblies import button.

If you import via the 'Inventory' import button then each row is a separate item.

Make sure your csv has a "Type" column with the text "ASSY" on each row.

Make a backup before doing this kind of thing so that you can try it a few times in case you pick the wrong options.
